An afternoon of laser play, not to mention the expected horse play, awaits at one of Scotland's top children's play centres. The eagerly awaited feed, as promised by Gary, may also feature at some point.

Livingston Hearts CFC has been awarded the Scottish Football Association's Quality Mark Standard Award for its contribution to the local community.
Chairman Mick Gillespie, secretary Robert Bickett and child protection office Pauline Cutkelvin are pictured above receiving the club's certificate. Behind them are (left to right), Neil Orr (SFA Community Development Manager), Gary Locke (former Heart of Midlothian captain) and Jim Grant (SFA Community Development Officer).
Livingston Hearts achieved the award after meeting a series of criteria in areas such as coach and player development, management, administration and welfare and planning.
Mr Gillespie was understandably delighted at securing such coveted recognition. "On 21 November, after a lot of hard work by everyone at the club, we managed to achieve the SFA Quality Mark Standard Award," he said. "This award demonstrated that the club has met the required standards/criteria in management, administration, child Protection, coaching and first aid."
The Scottish FA Quality Mark is a national plan for youth football development initiative which supports grassroots club development. Via Quality Mark, the Scottish FA and its partners, Big lottery and McDonald’s, will work with clubs and schools to broaden youth and community participation and to enhance player, coach and volunteer development.
Events conspired against Livingston Hearts in their last league game of the year as the loss of goalkeeper Aiden Coleman put paid to their attempts at overcoming near neighbours Mid Calder.
Facing a three-goal deficit at the interval on a chilly day at Bankton East, Aiden was forced off after a spirited first-half performance by the hosts and a well-taken goal by Ross Sampher. He was initially replaced by Kyle Smith and then Jamie Sinclair, but by then Mid Calder were out of sight.
Despite the defeat, the man-of-the-match performance of Rayaan Sharif (pictured) was a notable positive for Livingston Hearts and special mention must also go to Jamie, who showed tremendous attitude and aptitude in all three positions he was asked to play during the match.
